Amber Byars is the Owner of Good Faith Caregivers, overseeing client outreach, developing partnerships through networking, recruiting compassionate caregivers, and fostering clear communication throughout the organization. With a background in Elementary Education and business, Amber brings a unique combination of compassion, organization, and leadership to the company. Her experience has equipped her with the ability to understand individual needs, communicate effectively, and create systems that help both clients and caregivers thrive. She believe that quality care begins with trust, genuine relationships, and a commitment to treating every client like family.
"Caregiving is more than helping someone through their day -- it's honoring their dignity, preserving their independence, and reminding them they are never along."

Erica Malachowski, RN is our Home Care Supervisor, overseeing daily clinical operations and supporting both caregivers and clients to ensure safe, compassionate care. With fifteen years of nursing experience in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and home health, Erica brings deep clinical knowledge and a calm, thoughtful approach to care.
Her passion for home care began in 2019 when she stepped away from hospital bedside nursing to focus on more meaningful, one-on-one client relationships. As Erica often says, “There is nothing more fulfilling than caring for a client in the comfort, safety, and familiarity of their own home.”

Tia Simmons is our dedicated and compassionate Home Care Scheduler with more than ten years of hands-on experience in the caregiving field. She has built her career supporting seniors and families through both private home care and her prior role at The Presbyterian Home in Summerville. She oversees client needs, coordinates caregiver placements, and ensures optimal scheduling matches that deliver the highest quality of care.
Known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and genuine empathy, Tia excels at creating seamless care arrangements that provide peace of mind to clients and their families. Her deep understanding of caregiving—gained from years working directly with clients—allows her to match caregivers effectively based on personality, skills, and specific needs.
Outside of work, Tia cherishes her role as a wife and mom. She finds joy and balance by spending quality time with her family, which fuels her passion for helping others create meaningful, supported moments in their own homes.
